We have been with Dr Canowitz since he started. He does not even listen to the patient. Never worried when you give symptoms and just wants to give a pill to shut you up. He does not make pharmacy changes he leaves that up to the pharmacist. Does not want to followup on things. Poor care and does not encourage prevention. .

It is impossible to get an appointment. Every time my kids got sick I had to take them to the nearest urgent care. He was trying to examine my kids through emails ?? And of course he never gat the right diagnostic. This has been the worst experience with doctors I ever had. Very disappointed ??

Often brushes off symptoms as nothing. I visited two times for specific problems and he never even completed an exam. Had to seek a second opinion for a condition a year after bringing this up to Dr. Canowitz. Turns out I have a very rare life threatening tumor.

DR. CANOWITZ IS AN OUTSTANDING DOC. NEVER MAKES YOU FEEL BAD AND IS GREAT IN DEALING WITH THE FACTS. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR FIVE YEARS. VERY THROUGH

One cannot improve on perfection and Dr. Canowitz is perfect.

I have yet to have him put a stethescope to my back or chest after 15yrs. I see his nurse practitioner more than him. Never available for random appointments. Became director of the group and got too busy to see his patients. He hates giving referrals. Will send you through a bunch of tests and still end up seeing someone else. Had a gallbladder attack dealing with his delayed appointments and random tests. Needless to say, no longer a patient. For those who are, be thankful for a wonderful caring nurse practitioner.

Dr. Canowitz is an excellent Dr. My whole family goes to him and he is courteous, knowledgeable and very accomodating. We appreciate the ease of getting appointments and the care he takes in helping our family especially the kids. I couldn't ask for a better Dr.

Getting the doctor to write a prescription on time is very challenging. Usually the prescription will be ready at least one day too late. The office staff will not make effort to assist. Dealing with the office r in general is very frustrating

Dr. Canowitz is one of the most caring, courteous, respectful doctors I have ever been involved with. He has displayed excellent abilities in diagnosis, and treatments for my daughter. His active approach has been a life saver for myself and my wife. Going through two really serious and difficult diagnosis with our daughter, Dr. Canowitz has answered phone calls late at night, on the weekends, and come to the hospitals on his day off to help myself and my wife. Without his exemplary care, I don't know how my wife and I would have handled the sicknesses my daughter went through
