Dr. Stephen P Cavanaugh, DO

Our kids think there is magic in Dr Stephens hands... and quite possibly there is. He has helped our kids from shortly after birth. He has a great way with patients, is super knowledgeable and has an easy practice.

Dr Steve is a healer, he has done great work for our whole family. Highly recommended for children with problems that do not seem to have a solution in traditional med. Especially feeding issues.

I would absolutely recommend this doctor to anyone and have referred many. He is extremely talented and the results of working with him are tremendous.

After a difficult birth, we were referred to Dr. Cavanaugh to help us soothe our fussy baby and ease his transition into the world. We would recommend Dr. Cavanaugh highly. He is wonderful with babies and children (our first is now over 2). Dr. Cavanaugh helps newborns feel better physically which in turn helps parents feel better emotionally.

Dr. Steve is awesome! I started visiting him almost 2 years ago with chronic sinusitus and headaches so bad that I felt almost crippled by it. I had tried almost everything I could think of regular Medical doctors who did nothing but want to prescribe me to medications, netti pots, meditation, cutting out dairy products, and nothing seemed to work. I had heard of osteopathy and knew I had to give it a try. 2 years later I feel like a new person and the healthiest that I've been since I was 15 or 16 (I'm 27 by the way). I can't thank Dr. Cavanaugh enough for helping me when nothing else seemed like it would work. If you're even questioning using him for an ailment you think osteopathy may help with, use him! I'm moving out of Seattle later this week, but I know if I'm ever back here I'd certainly use him again, and if I ever have kids they would be seeing Dr. Cavanaugh as well.

Dr. Cavanaugh is a very experienced family physician particularly gifted with infants and small children. We saw Dr.Cavanaugh for two of our boys as infants. One of them had a bad case of reflux at 6-8 months and he would spit up after nursing more than his siblings ever did, it was more like projectile spit-up. Dr. Cavanaugh treated the baby very gently and was very attentive in taking down all manner of detail at the first visit. His care was very comprehensive, he was able to address this problem and within a matter of a few visits the problem was completely resolved without the use of medication. Our next son to visit Dr. C had terrible colic at 2 months of age. Calls to the lactation consultants were helpful but did not help my son rid himself of the colic. This was my 5th child and I was in tears over my lack of sleep and inability to help the baby. Dr. C also remedied this problem swiftly, the baby slept longer hours and I got more rest. I also saw Dr.C for foot/knee pain that… developed post-partum. He was very efficient in treating these and I have not had any problems since. THANK YOU Dr. Cavanaugh for your healing touch! I strongly recommend his practice to anyone with infants and young children.
