Dr. Stephen Souren Chakmakjian, MD

Not really impressed. He seems bored, uninterested. My baby is extreemly important to me, I don't think it's too much to ask for a little more interest. I feel like my questions are stupid and he rushes the visit. He was very rough when removing wax from my baby's ear, making her cry: she rarely cries. There are a few nice people on staff, but not enough to make me want to stay there. They also seem to be always busy and overbooked.

Dr chak and his staff are very rude. We've had several misdiagnosis. He gets snappy when asked questions or confronted on his diagnosis or medications prescribed. He ignores obvious indicators of neglect and abuse or is very quick to jump on an idea with no factual evidence. Finding another Dr who will tell me more than everything is fine and normal before my child is hospitalized again after another misdiagnosis! I've endured emotional stress from battling with this office. Countless medical costs endured after countless trips to the emergency room when I took my child in beforehand to her pediatrician. My child is sick alot and is on medications but this Dr is a joke! He's heartless! My chil suffers because this "Dr" has no clue what he's doing!

The staff was nice. The office was set up great for kids with a fun atmosphere. The Dr. was very considerate and answered all my questions. He talked as if he was very well educated with children but yet he did not talk over my head. I will continue taking my child there. :)

Dr. Chak is great and most of the nurses are really nice, but his office staff is horrible.

On my daughters 2 year check up he said he saw signs of sexual abuse. After getting that information my wife and I had emotional and physical breakdown . We had to suspect everyone and had to answer questions about each other that no honest couple should ever have to do. After being reported to CPS and not receiving any help on finding someone to look at my daughter we drove to Cooks in Ft.Worth and waited without an appointment we did get in to see a pediatric gynecologist and she found signs of fowl play and did not understand what Dr.Chak was looking at. We still have to go through CPS based on his first diagnoses even though the gyno rejected his diagnoses, we have not received a apology from Dr. Chak for putting us through a nightmare we can not control

The receptionist staff is terrible and refused to our child even though or other children our seen at this clinic.The doctor never followed up as requested on the refusal of service and never checks up on the children.

Dr. Chak, as he is known around the office, is a compassionate and caring doctor. Our daughter has an un-diagnosed neurological disorder that he quickly identified and helped us to get her the specialty care she needed. When she went for an MRI, he went out of his way to get her results and call us with his thoughts on the results 3 days before we met with the specialist, helping set our mind at ease. He goes out of his way to make every patient and parent feel as if they are the only people he has to see.
