Dr. Chin was the anesthesiologist for my colonoscopy last week. He was borderline rude, made no eye contact, was robotic in his communication with no kindness or comforting words, as a matter of fact when he saw I was 15 years overdue for a colonoscopy his comment was “well I hope we don’t find anything wrong” what a comforting thing to say right before you go in. When in the procedure room he rudely told me “turn on your side” grabbed my hand to pull my arm closer which dislodged my IV & when I told him it had moved he said “its fine” which it was not! When he started the sedation into my Iv my forearm blew up & I was totally awake feeling everything, he then took out the iv & repositioned it. It was a horrible & very disturbing experience. I will NEVER accept him as an anesthesiologist if I am ever in a position again in need of one. He should not be in a career that involves people especially in a situation that is stressful & uncomfortable such as surgery or procedures.
