Dr. Stephen K Chock, PhD

As a neuro-psychologist, Dr. Chock is knowledgable, insightful, and has great experience, but has no regard for his patients when it comes to scheduling appointments. He has had my family wait 45 minutes to an hour repeatedly, double-booked, and today, asked us to delay by 1 and 1/2 hour the appointment it took two weeks to get. Until today, no one ever called to advise the appointment time needed to be changed. This afternoon, when my family member arrived, he was given a long questionnaire to complete just as busy work, since Dr. Chock didn't plan to arrive for another 30 minutes. The reason? He had taken his son to DPS and got tied up there. The bottom line - Dr. Chock chose not to honor my family member's appointment time altogether. So after driving 45 minutes to get there and waiting another 30 minutes, my family member had to go to work and never got to see the doctor. He really needed the appointment. Now my family member does not want to go back there. Despite the help Dr.… Chock has provided in the past, it is totally unfair for any of us to subject ourselves to this level of disregard and the subsequent frustration caused. We will be better off finding a new doctor and starting over developing a professional relationship with someone who values the time of others and treats patients with care and courtesy.

The receptionist in Dr. Chock's office was unfriendly and unhelpful. I didn't feel like Dr. Chock empathized with me and understood me. He was not a good match for me.

Dr. Chock knows the brain and how to help people think at their best. I highly recommend Dr. Chock for testing and for counseling!

He was not helpful to me at all. Complete waste of money. Much better off talking to a friend
