Dr. Stephen Clingman, MD

People call him the "candy man" with how much he prescribes pain meds. He is a contributor to the community's opioid crisis. Spends as little time in the room with a patient and then bills them outrageously. Very little understanding. Not sure how he has convinced another company to let him work for them.

Dr. Clingman is an excellent doctor! He took the time and actually listened to me and addressed my problems AND concerns. It is rare to find a doctor who listens! They use an electronic medical record and he types a lot. But, all doctors do! He was able to explain in easy terms what my problems were, why other treatments I tried with other doctors may not have worked, and what he recommended. The plan worked! Finally someone was helping me! I highly recommend Dr Clingman

i suffer from chronic pain disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome, diastitic depression, anxiety disorder, & ptsd. i went inpatient for medication management & he feels he's better than the specialists. when i got out of inpatient i was a functional person. now im down everyday with severe pain. he has taken away medication that works & has tried to force me into taking three different antidepressants that have severe side effects when mixed. i handled natural childbirth with no problem. this pain is debilitating, & he doesn't listen to anything you try to talk to him. he's definitely one of those drs with a "God complex" & doesn't care about his patients. he seems more interested in being right. he takes absolutely no time to talk to you, he talks down to you. he needs to start listening to his patients. he also treats patients as if they're the same person instead of individuals. as for treatment, he should get zero stars.
