Dr. Stephen Michael Colodny, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Colodny back in 2004 when I was 21 years old and had ended up with bacterial endocarditis due to having MRSA and Staph in my blood stream from being an IV drug user for many years. (his wife is a doctor as well, whom I also met during my hospital stay) He is a very kind, intelligent, talented doctor. Not only did he diagnose me quickly and treat my endocarditis/sepsis but he treated my addiction and detoxed me off of my opiate dependence too during my stay at Mercy Hospital. I literally own my life to Dr. Colodny and the other doctors on my treatment team. I’ve got to give a shout out to Dr. Harami Burns as well, who was another excellent doctor on my treatment team at that time.

Great support staff-easy to make appointments, leave messages and actually have them returned by the doctor. Dr. Colodny is a very calm professional, excellent listener, spends as much time as you like discussing sensitive issues and allows significant others to comment or ask questions without feeling as though they were opposing. After repeated attempts at other doctors, Dr. Colodny's diagnosis and subsequent treatment was successful. I would highly recommend his services.

Dr. Colodny is an excellent practitioner. He is honest and direct, while maintaining a high level of kindness. I would recommend him to anyone frustrated with doctors who only want to treat a single issue and send you on your way.
