Dr. Stephen A Corontzes, MD

My 3 children (ages 5, 8, and 11) have been going to Dr Corontzes' office for about 7 yrs now. To begin with, the staff has always been friendly and caring and there are always toys for the kids to play with and it's always clean. Dr C himself is amazing. When it comes to my childrens' health, I don't want a sugar coated version. He is very blunt and to the point, which some people might fingers insensitive or inappropriate. When. taking your child to a doctor you need to know facts, even if it's not what you want to hear. There are no stupid questions to him (and believe me, I've asked a few) but no matter what he always takes time to acknowledge my concerns. I've even called just to talk to him after my children have been in there that day. Sometimes the wait is longer than it should be, but he's a very busy man and takes time with all of his patients and their parents/guardians. I trust my childrens' lives with this man, and I have never been disappointed. I really feel as if I'm… family when I walk in that door. A phenomenal doctor!!!!

If you are thinking about having Dr. Corontzes as your pediatrician please do. He was my pediatrician and he was wonderful, if he could still be my doctor, I wouldn't have it any other way. He is very to the point. He never leaves you thinking. He will answer any and all questions that you have and is very, very honest. He is a good guy and he cares a lot about his patients.

We have been taking our kids to Dr. Corantzes for a few years now. The staff is him family and they are very friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about the kids that come into their office. Dr. Corantzes is very firm but friendly. He is old school and I like that. He is great with the kids and I feel that we are in good hands with him.

I was referred to Dr. Corontzes by a friend. I was a little reluctant because I have never been to any doctors in the area and I just wanted to be sure I was making the right decision with my baby. It was a GREAT experience. In response to "Ian's" review, I had the exact opposite experience. Yes, several of the staff are related to Dr. Corontzes. I found that they took extra care and concern for not only my baby but you could tell their job was personal to them I thought it was really cool that they were related. Dr. Corontzes circumcised my baby as well. It was great. They nurses were very nice and gentle. Then the doctor told me exactly how to care for everything. I am very happy to be a patient here.

Staff was AMAZING! Nurse was great for my kids. She interacted well. Dr. C. was great! he talked to my child and not just to me about my child. Also correctly diagnosed my son the first time we saw him for the first time ever! total fan for life!!!

Dr Corontzes is a great doctor, my son loved him. Office staff is AWFUL!!!! I called and left a message on the office voicemail on a Thurs @ 12:14 to make an appt for my son who I picked up from school. Understood that it was lunchtime and I probably wouldn't get a call back for 2 or 3 hours. No call, ever. I called office on Friday to inquire as to why I didn't get a call back and was told the office closes at 12 on Thursdays and I should have called the service. (there is NO indication on the office message of the hours and that the office was closed and I should call the service) I told the girl I was speaking to that I thought I should have received some sort of call by now...more than 24 hours after the original call!! She claimed to find no record of my call or message. I told her that that was pretty crummy and maybe I should find a new doctor...she said "Maybe you should"!!! No apology, no sympathy! To add salt to the wound, the office called today (Saturday!) and asked… to fax or email a release for my son's new doctor. I told the girl I was thinking about changing and was told that the office would change their records and we were no longer welcome there. As a side bar, I was not rude or disrespectful in any way during any of this...and boy, I could have been!!

Dr. Corontzes and the entire staff are absolutely amazing. Dr. Corontzes has been our pediatrician for almost three years and we couldn't be happier. He is straight forward and to-the-point which we appreciate. We love Moagnolia Pediatrics.
