Dr. Stephen Michael Dahlstedt, MD

Dr Dahlstedt gave me the worst experience by far with any specialist I’ve ever seen. He had a fast answer for every concern I had for my health. His answer for me dealing with recurrent UTI’s for years was that some women just have to deal with that, kind of like men like me have to deal with a bald head. I didn’t find him funny and this topic in general is very sensitive to me. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the visit and he got very offended. I simply said I felt like there was more to what’s going on in my body because these issues are not normal. He rushed through the visit and interrupted me multiple times. He’s rude and a bully. He insulted my intelligence and was very sarcastic. A Dr should be compassionate and show they care for their patient. He was very dismissive and no one in the medical field with his attitude should be in charge of anyone’s health. I will NEVER see him as a provider again.

I am a physician and could have chosen any urologist to perform my vasectomy. I chose Dr. Dahlstedt because he is very smart, wise and has a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him without reservation.

After seeing a wonderful urologist for over 25 years , I can tell you this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any MD ever . He missed my diagnosis and I became very very sick for weeks and personally insulted me and then proceeded to tell me that my prior urologist who was retired Gabe me an incorrect diagnosis for many years . Interestingly enough the prior urologist was one of his former colleagues and an amazing distinguished doctor . Unbelievable , I could have died . Horrible horrible experience.

Dr Dahlstedt has my best regard in all areas. Surgeries have been successful, follow up prompt and bedside manner is the best. He never seems to be in a rush and explains treatments in simple layman's terms. He gets an a+ rating from me!

Dr. D has been my urologist for several years. I have been impressed and totally satisfied with his professionalism and patience. He is, in addition, a thoroughly nice and decent guy...a pleasure to deal with. Further, his staff assistants are equally professional and understanding. Ten stars here!

Entire office experience was superior. From efficient and caring front office to lab and check in nurse. Dr Dahlstedt was on time caring and very thorough. He arranged for an immediate CT at the office which diagnosed my kidney stone. He reviewed the films and the treatment plan thoroughly with me. It has been a long time since I have had such excellent care. I would recommend him without reservation.

I found this doctor to have a poor bedside manner. He gives you a Cancer diagnosis over the phone and tells you "that you need to get educated. You shoud read a book called Prostate for Dummies and then call the office to set an appointment. Oh, are you married, well you should probably bring your wife". Felt like cattle being herded in every way. Only kind person we interacted with was his nurse that prepares you for your biopsy.He should take lessons from her as to what is expected and good manners. He clearly never watched Marcus Welby M.D.
