Dr. Stephen Joseph Dante, MD

I have heard good things about this doctor, but when I called to make an appointment, I was told I had to fax my MRI, which I did. I got a call back and was then told I couldn’t see the doctor, that he didn’t recommend surgery and because I’d had a minor procedure done previously, he wouldn’t treat me. I’ve had 2 other surgeons recommend procedures, so I asked to see him just for a consultation, and was again told no. Funny, I keep hearing ads on the radio to call Penn for a second opinion. Apparently not.

besides being a brilliant surgeon, his bedside manner is both caring and respectful.

No other TOP DOC!! Dr. DANTE SAVED MY LIFE!!

It has been almost 10 years since Dr. Dante extracted a synovial cyst and cleaned up bony growth around L4/L5. The long term results have far exceeded my expectations.

Dr Danti, and his staff were extremely professional, on target and I could not have ask for a better expierence. Haven't felt this good in years!

DR. Dante is an excellent communicator and speaks with clarity. Unfortunately, he no longer performs surgery at University of Penn. Hospital. He performs surgery at Virtua Memorial in NJ.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor! I would give him a 10 out of 10! I had several opinions before I had my surgery which was this past May. From the moment I met and talked to Dr. Dante I knew he was the one I would trust with my surgery and with my life. He didn't let me down. I am a very nervous person and I was rolled into surgery having total confidence in Dr. Dante and his staff. I would highly recommend him!

I had an ACDF at C5-C6. Dr. Dante came highly recommended and now I know why. I felt at ease going into surgery and completely confident that I was in good hands. After surgery I hardly any pain at all. If I ever need another spine surgery, Dr. Dante will definitely be my neurosurgeon!
