Dr. Stephen Owen Davis, MD

It was my first time having an colonoscopy procedure done. I was nervous, but everyone there put me at ease and made the visit go very smoothly. Excellent staff, exceptional customer service and a well kept, clean facility.

Dr. Davis is a very good doctor. The staff out front were welcoming and very helpful. The nurses and others in the operation/ exam rooms were professional and had a very good sense of humor which put me at ease. Yes I will use the Endoscopy Center again in the future.

Felt confident of the staff and procedure. Well orchestrated and thorough. Would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Condescending, demeaning attitude!

He has a big heart to listen to his patient's health issues, and very friendly and practices ultimate professionalism in his field . I highly recommend this physician

Dr Davis did not listen to my concerns, nor did he explain his plan to address my GI problems. When I came prepared with a list of questions, he impatiently interrupted me mid-question, each question, assuming he knew what I was about to ask, then began to answer questions I had not asked! He is personable, but seems uncaring and procedure oriented. I had 2 office visits and 1 procedure with Dr Davis. I followed his advice to the letter. Meanwhile, my condition worsened. I felt like a farm animal. His office runs smoothly but there is one receptionist who can be quite abrasive. When I asked her if the doctor was a board certified gastroenterologist, she hostilely admitted he is NOT. I suspect this doctor is "cherry picking" his patients to avoid difficult cases, and he was simply out of his depth. He may be a very good doctor for those with common problems that are easily treated with one-size-fits-all treatment plans.

Dr. Davis is very personable. He is very thorough and "covers his bases." I would and have recommended him to many others. He is an excellent doctor. Only once did I have to wait an extraordinarily long time. Usually the wait is no more than 10 - 15 minutes.

I have not been to see Dr Davis since I left California, but he was the best doctor I have ever seen regarding my condition. He was ALWAYS patient, caring, sensitive, and willing to take ALL of the time I needed to make sure that I understood what was going on, he referred me to the best specialists beyond his care and always followed up. A huge plus, he always knew what was going on with his patients and his schedule, so if the nurse didn't know, HE DID! what other dr can you honestly say that about!If it had not been for Dr Davis, I actually might not be alive to give this recommendation.
