Dr. Stephen M Dechter, DO

Dr. Dechter is a wonderful doctor and an awesome surgeon. He implanted a stimulator in me when nothing else would relieve my on going pain. He has a excellent bedside manner and takes the time to answer any and all questions that you might have and not too many doctors do that these days. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Cervical Epidural Steroid Injection procedure My first time having an ESI. I had really high anxiety before my procedure from listening to others in person and online that had this type of procedure. Of course, they all had different doctors. My doctor and staff understood my anxiety concerns and talked me through procedure and suggested oral sedation to calm my nerves, which helped me tremendously! Also, during procedure I used a deep breathing technique. The doctor warned me before hand every time before a pinch or pressure was coming, so I could breathe out. He finished fast, with short pressure after injection as medication dispersed, which went away in a just a few minutes. Plus, I appreciate that the surgery centers doctor and staff took all precautions to ensure my safety during COVID-19. Lastly, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Stephen Dechter for Orthopedic care.

After the way your treated me yesterday I was feeling really sorry for myself and wished I wouldn’t have given you the pleasure of allowing me to become upset. After talking to a few past and current patients of yours I started to feel sorry for you. Your habit of yelling at patients in waiting rooms and hallways will only get you in trouble, you may want to learn how to control your temper before it happens to the wrong person and they take legal action. Knowing i wasn’t the only one who experienced that is what made me really feel sorry for you. You accused every single one of those good people of being drug addicts. It gave me an idea of what you have to deal with made me understand why you acted the way you did. Without a doubt I feel like you really went into this specialty to help people but the hard reality of what you deal with on a day to day basis has caused you to loose your empathy and trust in people. I can’t imagine everything you have put up with, but I hope one day you… realize this specialty is eating you up and you can find something that will make you feel fulfilled in life and cause you to be less angry and pass unfair judgment on good people. I wish you the best in life and I hope you find happiness in what ever you do.

His staff made a major error and because of it my wife is the one paying the conciquences and he will not see my wife any more. He is closed minded and can not admit that the screw up was on his staffs behalf. I guess he figures that it's okay to let a 63 year old woman suffer as long as he can protect the wrong that was done to my wife. Since when is making a patient suffer the right thing to do? Since when Is a doctor not human? Maybe an attorney can figure that one out.
