went to steven duffy to remove cancer on my nose , after first surgery he said he got it all ,he called me a week later to inform me that he didn't get it all , rescheduled for a hospital visit a couple months later , he preformed second surgery said he got it all and that scar will be gone in a year , a year and a half later the scar never went away and the cancer returned or did he not get it the second time ! what a clown

SEEMS LIKE IF YOU ARE LEAVING THE STATE YOU WOULD REMOVE YOUR MYRTLE BEACH ADDRESS. PRAY THAT YOU DON'T TREAT YOUR PATIENTS WHERE YOU ARE GOING LIKE YOU DID ME. LEFT ME PERMANENTLY SCARRED PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY!!!!!

This is my second comment. The first was exactly what happened when Duffy (I didn't add Dr. due to doctors don't make the mistakes he did with me) I will never get over the way my breast look and scarred. NO THANKS TO HIM!!! DO NOT GO TO DUFFY!!!!

The first surgery did not work on my left breast. Therefore, a second was done which I had to pay the surgery center again. This one did not work either. It looks like breasts on two different people. I went back to him and he said he would work on them again but of course I will be charged AGAIN. My left breast also has many surgical scars and the nipple needs correcting as well as the right nipple. I went back and of course when I first went all smiles and laughter but now no smiles and caring AT ALL. This has terribly upset me to look in the mirror, depression, stress, my bras and clothes do not fit the same. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR DUFFY FOR ANY SURGERY.

Rude uncaring Would not recommend this Dr Duffy

I had some cosmetic work done a few months ago by Dr. Duffy. He and his staff were so thorough explaining the procedure and what to expect. I wasn't aware that Dr. Duffy called to see how I was doing until much later when I dialed into my voicemail. Who ever heard of the doctor himself, calling to see how you're doing? I had a pretty extreme surgery and Dr. Duffy and his staff were so reassuring before and after. Due to long-term damage on a particular area, I didn't expect the outcome to be as fantastic as it turned out. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend consulting with Dr. Duffy first.

I had consulted with several surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Duffy. He took over an hour discussing my goals, going over my options, and reviewing my health history. He and his staff were professional and informative both before and after my surgery. Have had several scheduled visits after my surgery to monitor and my progress. I am very happy with my decision to chose him as my surgeon

I was very impressed with my experience with Nirvana Plastic Surgery. The staff there was very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I called as well as during my consultation. Dr. Duffy was very understanding to my concerns and goals for cosmetic surgery.

I was diagnosed with leakage from old breast implants. Went to Dr Duffy because other surgeon said he could remove old implants but not allowed to put new ones in. I wanted both procedures at the same time so had to see a plastic surgeon. My primary physician recommended Dr Duffy based on another patient's opinion of his work. The office staff was nice and professional. Wait times were short. The surgical center waited till I was prepped for surgery to tell me they wanted another payment of $1,200 or they would not continue.. Why wait till I am committed to surgery? I already paid the amount his office said was my share before the date of procedure. Highway robbery. My husband paid, of course. Later received refund from surgery center. This was unnecessary stress, to say the least. I paid for best implants with silicone gel inside. Two years later an MRI revealed I actually received cheaper saline implants. Why the deception? Dr Duffy said he would restore my breasts to exactly as… they looked before surgery. But, he decided during procedure to put larger implants in and to put them lower to more closely resemble what I should look like for my age. I did not want saggy breasts, but he decided that was what I should have. For my age. My breasts are lumpy and I can see the edges of the implants when I look in the mirror. Correcting this would require another surgery. The most common plastic surgery is correction of a previous surgery, according to the Internet. After all this, it turned out my old implants were not even leaking. I had an infection causing my lymph nodes to swell and become painful. My primary physician told me to wait for the implants to settle into place before I decide if I want them fixed, so it has been a couple of years. They look pretty bad compared to what my old ones looked like. Funny that implants from 1989 lasted so long and looked so good. My husband says he loves me as I am and doesn't want me to suffer through another surgery like I did with this last one. I guess I am too old to mess with it any more. No point in throwing good money after bad. Disappointed with Dr Duffy's work because he didn't do what I asked for, didn't use the implants I wanted, didn't put them in as I wanted. Did he do what he thought was best for me? Probably. Did he do what I wanted? No. Did he tell me he did something different than I expected? No. I do not believe I had unrealistic expectations. I believe he knew what my expectations were but made a conscious decision to do something else. My results are disappointing.

I had thought about plastic surgery for many years as a way to improve my physical appearance and confidence. When I met Dr. Stephen Duffy to discuss a possible breast lift and implants, he assured me that I was a good candidate for the surgery. He and his staff were supportive and caring throughout the process. Healing time was minimum, and I can honestly say that the discomfort was short-lived with the outcome outstanding. A few months later, I talked to Dr. Duffy about a possible tummy tuck. At this point, there was no doubt that I had the right surgeon for the procedure and decided to move forward. Without question, the most tedious part of the recovery was dealing with the drainage tubes (a necessary part of the healing process). Just as with my first surgery, the healing period was minimum and Dr. Duffy monitored my progress with care and professionalism all the way. Today, I am so very pleased with my decision to have the surgeries . Most importantly, I chose… an outstanding surgeon in Dr. Stephen Duffy! His skill, professionalism, and dedication to his patients are commendable and most appreciated. Truly, he has given me a new and exciting boost to a healthier and happier life.
