Dr. Stephen Fredrick Eberwine, MD

This morning I had an appointment at 8:00 a.m. with Dr. Eberwine. I sat in the waiting room until 8:35 a.m. and was then taken to an exam room and was told by the nurse, the Doctor wasn't here yet. Waited until 9:00 a.m. and left. Completely unprofessional and I can't understand why Doctors think their time is more important than others. Check out other reviews, common and continuing problem for him.

I found him to be very poor in communicating with me and then got no response after CTscan and chest X-ray. No reply to phone request for information.

Dr Eberwine is a terrible doctor and shows little moral character in his professional role with staff.

Usually very good communicating (use of explanations, white board), but once left with lab results we couldn't decipher for 30 minutes -requiring using iphone to figure out what happening. Better just to wait then wait & worry.

I think he knows a lot about his field. i have all the time i need to ask questions. i would recommend him to my family & friends. He gets patients in quicker than before which is good.

This doctor has zero respect for patient's time. Always late. Why set an appointment if he can't be on time. Will suggest to my mother she looks for a more professional oncologist, someone who can be prompt and not make the visit an hour and a half each time she needs to see him.

i think he has a good bedside manner and i value his opinion. he takes all the time need to answer questions and i would recommend him to family & friends.

I waited for an hour past my appt time to even get back to the exam rooms. The waited an additional 15 min before Dr Eberwine came in. He was very short and mostly talked about studies and papers and really seemed uninterested in me and my story. This being the first time I met him you would think that would be important. He gave me a gown told he would be back in for my exam. Left me sitting there for an additional 30 minutes in a gown in the exam room before he came back. I could hear him in the next room talking to another set of patients. My exam took all of 5 minutes, was in no way thorough. I would avoid this Dr if you are looking for someboy that even remotely acts like they care about you and your situation. Also if you would like to get in and out of the appt in under 2 tours time for a 5 minute exam.
