Dr. Stephen Michael Egge, MD

My name is Tommy Thompson, I have had the honor and care of Doctor Stephen Egge for over 30 years of my adult life. He has always told it to me straight, Doctor Egge's bedside manner, (even though I was never in a bed when I saw him), has always spoke to me professionally with care and kindness you rarely find in this day and age. Doctor Egge treats you as if you were a member of his family, he has a sense of well being. I always looked forward to my doctor visit because of his approach and his kindness without mincing words about whatever my visit was for. I have moved from the area about 270 miles east of Canyon Clinic. I want anyone who reads this to know, Doctor Egge is MY DOC ! Hopefully I will be DEAD before he retires! Though I am not looking forward for that day, I will drive the distance and keep my health care with Dr, Egge and the best staff in the region. "Hey Doc HEADS UP, I am booking an appointment today. The worst experience I have had at Summitview Clinic. He walked in and said, ‘how big is your neck? I’m sure it’s over 16 inches. Took out a tape measure and measured 14. He then told me I am going to die of a heart attack. I am in my 40’s and overweight. I need help, not attacks. I refuse to see him ever again. Thank goodness De. Bannister is there or I would never go back to this clinic.

I have been going to Dr. Egge for several years and think very highly of him. I have always found him and his staff to be friendly, helpful, considerate and professional. Annual exams are thorough, with emphasis on a long-ranch, personalized health strategy. I have recommended him to several friends. His great personality and sense of humor are a bonus.

I was a new patient for what I thought would be a complete physical. Dr. came in didn't intoduce himself and asked what he could do for me. I told him I was there for a physical. He checked my throat, looked in my ears, did a breast exam and that was it. Asked me some questions, left the room a couple times and came back with a slip for me to get some labs done. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes which for me was the poorest complete physical I have ever had. Needless to say I never went back.

I have been with Dr. Egge for many years and I adore him. He is what a doctor is all about. If he doesnt know the answer he will bend over backwards to find it.He has pulled me through some very serious things. I'm in my 60's and I have seen my share of doctors. Dr Egge is the best ever.
