Dr. Stephen Evan, MD

Dr Evan is all business. After reading other reviews, it seems some patients want to become friends with their doctor. I just want treated. Doc Evan figured out my GI issues after another physician failed after many years. He methodically treated me over a few visits and tests and wanted to avoid meds if possible. He solved my issue and changed my life. I will never be able to thank him enough.

I would not recommend Dr. Evan to anyone. Could care less about that problem and rushed out of recovery after procedure. Was told my only problem was that I needed to lose weight. Very ignorant and arrogant. I would rather deal with the pain I was having before I saw another doctor again than go see this guy again.

Did my surgery and when I went for follow up he was so fast, uncaring and hyper that I would never go back! He was really bizarre acting even before surgery

He saved My son life & he did an amazing job when my son became diabetic , and he did surgery on me , i think him for it every day!?? When you go see a doctor you don’t go to meet a friend you go to find the best doctor and he is the one I thank you doctor Stive??:)

lacks professionalism had issues in recovery after colonoscopy told me that was a risk I had to take! Just what I wanted to hear! Never again would I go to him or recommend him! Arrogant!

I cannot believe the way this man conducts his profession. He doesn't recommend second opinions, will bring in other dr.'s from his office to Back him up, and becomes visibly upset if you do not follow his surgical advise. He's very quick to frighten a patient into unnecessary surgeries. I've been told by one of his former colleagues that he's wreckless and arrogant. Only karma will force him to look at his unprofessionalism. When you visit him, you're not a patient, you're a cash cow.

Felt rushed.He was uncaring and I felt like just another surgery but not a person to him.Sorry I would not use him again nor would/could I recommend him.

Office staff is very friendly, super easy to get an appointment. I feel that Dr Evan was nice, but very rushed, and appeared that he did not have the time for questions / concerns. It was pretty much in and out, looked at my problem and said see you in 2 weeks.

Tests were done to make sure diagnosis was correct. He was spot on. He also called in another doctor to make sure I had the best care. I appreciated his concern and thoroughness.
