Dr. Stephen Paul Geary, MD

I almost 3 weeks post op from a full knee replacement. I have had nothing but positive experiences from Dr Geary to his various staff members. He is a confident, skilled and caring surgeon. I’m very glad I chose him! Great man indeed!

My entire experience from start to finish was extremely positive. Everyone I dealt with, in person or over the phone, was up-beat, professional, and competent. Everything went right. I have experienced occasions when a group acts as a team, and the synergy that results takes their already high level of performance to a new and higher level. They are a team and a very good team, every one of them. I include ATI as a part of that team albeit a bit remote one.

Dr. Geary is a very skilled surgeon and has outstanding bedside manner. He does very thorough pre-op analysis and also does a great job communicating details about the diagnosis and expectations for post-op therapy and recovery. Dr. Geary is the finest doctor that I have ever interacted with and I could not recommend him any more highly.

Dr. Geary would ask me questions to determine my level of discomfort but before I could finish answering, he would interrupt me - every time! I had questions which he answered but it was obvious he was in a hurry. I had to suffer with shoulder pain & wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with him, then wait over an hour to be seen - & I felt like I was imposing on him asking questions! This was my 2nd appointment with him - and my last.

They do not pay attention to the patients and wee very rude after I simply asked for an update on when the doctor could see me. Never gave an actual estimate just said when he is done with another patient. Waited an hour and a half after my appointment time to see the doctor. Looks nice on the outside the building but other than that keep on driving.

Dr. Geary was not worth the wait. He was insulted when I told him I didn't like the wait time to be seen. He did not review my chart at any time during my visit with him. This guy is a JERK!

Very kind and gentle manner. I will have him do my other knee replacement when needed. My outcome was way better than I expected. His nurse Ruby and other staff always got back to me in a timely manner with any concerns.

Dr. Geary's office is very professional. They got my son in quickly. They took the x-rays, reviewed MRI's and other records. I could tell when Dr. Geary came in, that he had reviewed the records during our wait. Scheduled surgery around our schedule. Had an emergency with the knee and they scheduled his surgery within 48 hours around our schedule again. After surgery Dr. Geary spent a good bit of time explaining everything and a weekend follow up telephone call. His office kept us informed and followed up and were very available. My 19 year old son felt very comfortable with Dr. Geary and is very pleased with his follow up.

I've been seeing Dr. Geary for over 10 years. I realize that it takes a while to see him- but that is because he is the best. If you don't want to wait- go to someone else who isn't as awesome. He's done 3 different surgeries for me and has always had a great bed side manner. He always calls on his own time after surgery to see how you are doing. To the people who didn't like him- you're crazy!

Get a recommendation before being scheduled with this Dr. I should have asked around before being scheduled to the Dr. with the least amount of appts on his calendar. Waited for an hour - which has been typical of both times visiting this clinic - waited another 15 minutes in the clinical room for a 6 minute follow-up after 2 months of physical therapy. He had nothing poignant to offer - did not test my shoulder strength and range of motion after not having seen him for 2 months - said "keep going to therapy" and sent me on my way. My time is valuable, too, and I work hard for my money. Supreme waste of time. If you want a real diagnosis, see a different doctor or go to any of the physical therapists within ProAxis.
