Dr. Stephen Arthur Godlewski, MD

Dr. Godlewski has a wonderful chairside manner and allows me to feel comfortable in his care. He has done minor surgery on and around my eyes and has made me feel at ease. The results were wonderful. His staff are friendly and always welcoming.

My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Godlewski. I have a cornea disease that has left my right eye almost completely useless. Dr. Godlewski discovered signs of this disease in my left eye as well as bilateral cataracts. He immediately referred me to a physician who was able to restore my sight in the left eye and, because of recent advances< believes that he can also restore sight to my right eye. Dr. Godlewski acted quickly and responsibly to protect my eyesight. Cannot say enough good things about his practice.

I have been going to Dr Godlewski for over 30 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes. He treats me for my glaucoma and is an exceptional dr. Many years ago before lasix came along he performed RK surgery on me. I had worn contacts for years and after completing the surgery I didn’t have to wear any glasses. He is very dedicated to his patients. I’m worried that he will retire one day!!

He is too old and not up to date with current cataract treatment. We had to find another specialist!!

Dr. Godlewski performed my cataract surgery. The surgery went horrifically wrong. I had to see a retina specialist to try to correct what Dr. Godlewski did during surgery. I have had three surgeries by the retina specialist since my cataract surgery and my vision is now only 20/200. I am now legally blind in one eye thanks to Dr. Godlewski!! No one from Dr. Godlewski's office has called or followed up with me. Please do not use Dr. Godlewski for anything!!! don't walk!!! Run away fast! Worse decision of my life was using him.

Dr. Godlewski has had better moments during the course of his practice. As a surgeon would get think twice prior to using his service.

Office staff and Dr Godlewski all rate five stars. His corrective surgery improved my vision dramatically.

I have been going to Dr Godlewski for 20+ years. Started seeing him when I cut my eye on a Saturday and he met me at his office - I wasn't even his patient at the time! Been seeing him ever since - he is a terrific Dr - very efficient - gentle and kind. I would and have recommended him to anyone. In fact - I have my whole extended family seeing him now...

I had an appt. with Dr. Godlewski regarding floaters in my eyes. He hurt me during the exam and I told him so. When I returned home and looked in the mirror, two thirds of the white of my left eye was blood red and hurt. The doctor, his assistant and staff saw this this when I left and did not say a word. I have been on the phone with his office staff twice and was told "this happens." I never received an apology and was instructed to pay another $10 for eye drops and use them. The condition worsened and when I called again, I was instructed to keep taking the eye drops. I feel as if I am being shunned and am afraid to go back to him. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I would recommend this doctor. Some offices allow the tech's to do part of the exam and then the doctor comes in for the last part. I like that Dr. Godlewski does the entire exam.
