Dr. Stephen Kohl Greenholz, MD

My grandson was born with Hirschsprung’s disease and it had gotten to a very serious stage, Dr. Green Hawkes saw him and within three days he had ace surgery and he is 14 now and doing wonderful. I think Dr. Green halter is one of the best positions I have ever met and believe you me he saved my grandsons life and for that he will receive 10 stars from me forever

My son was seen for a mass, Dr Greenholz quickly scheduled it to be removed. The surgery was perfect and my son bounced back from a 5 lb tumor in about 2 months. Dr. Greenholz acted quickly and was skilled in every way.

Dr. Greenholz and his office staff are have treated my son for 3 years and have provided excellent care for him! Dr. Greenholz always takes time to answer questions and explain things to both of us. He has a great sense of homour too, which is so welcome when your child has a chronic condition which requires daily regimines, frequent xrays and other procedures. I recommend Dr. Greenholz withiut reservation, to any parent of a child in need of a Pediatric G.I. Specialist/Surgeon.

Fifteen years ago today we were not given much hope for our daughter to survive. In blew Dr. Greenholz and he looked at her info, told us in 15 words or less what had to be done, and left us standing there stunned. We were not going to let him do the surgery until we talked to our pediatrician who convinced us otherwise and we have been grateful ever since. He did an AMAZING job on our daughter's esophageal stricture. He told us when we were holding her at 4lbs exactly where the scars would be and he was right. She is a girl and completely self conscious about her looks. The main scar (most of which you cannot see) is hidden where the bottom of a bikini top would be (he hit is mark with less than a centimeter deviance), behind her ear so that it is hidden by her hair, and the others are not even visible. He returned to us a perfectly healthy normal little girl and we will forever be grateful. I can do without the hand holding for the skill in the operating room and I would… recommend anyone taking their child to him. We thought our daughter would have a life time of struggles and surgeries but her health has been a non-issue thanks to Dr. Greenholz and the staff at Sutter Mem. Thank you to them all.

Our son was born with an esophageal atresia. He had surgery performed on him by Dr. Greenholz. Everything went as well as it could have gone. He and his team did an awesome job, and he was very informative. We will always be forever grateful for his wonderful work!

I would personally recommened this dr. to everyone. He has been seeing my for 12yrs. now. Our 1st time meeting him, my son was 2 days old. I love this man, he has a great way of making sure you and your child can understand everything. While in the hospital, he will come and sit on your childs bed and talk to tem about anything. I don't know what I'd do without this Dr.
