Dr. Stephen N Grimaldi, DO

We have been seeing Dr. Grimaldi for 20 years. As his practice has continued to grow, his staff has become more and more rude. My husband saw him recently and asked about something that has really been bothering him and the doctor actually told him that he didn't have time to discuss the issue... So unbelievable rude. As a doctor you are supposed to care for your patients and listen to the issues and you can't even manage 5 minutes to discuss an issue... DON'T GO TO THIS PRACTICE

Dr grimaldi is very concerned about his patients. I've been under his care for 30+years. I like that he remembers who you are from visit to visit. His staff is hot or cold, but I'll reserve judgment because he's changed some staff. You get an old time feel from him that I like.

I had been seeing Dr. Grimaldi for 3 years. He canceled my routine physical 6-weeks prior to my scheduled appointment because I had neglected to make a follow-up appointment 6-months earlier. He informed me that I was discharged from his practice and discharged from all ProHealth Physicians. As for his care: Itâ??s okay, but he talks incessantly about himself and other patients (no names of course) during the examination making it difficult to maintain a discussion about my health.

I saw the physician assistant and waited 20 minutes while she tried to check on my condition with the doctor because she did not know what she was doing and had to ask the doctor, in the meantime the doctor was in the office with another patient and she never spoke to him about my condition. She forgot to order an important lab and a week later informed me that I needed to have that lab done and it only happened after I called several times to find out what my full lab results were. In addition the office moral was poor. The nurse in the office had commented on the doctore talking too much and their service being slow. Not only were they unprofesional but their PA did not know what she was doing. Poor quality care and a lack of medical knowledge from the PA.

The overall experience is always pleasant, professional, and satisfying. I'm always well informed about my condition by Dr. Grimaldi and the environment is one of professional courtesy. I'm never kept waiting and any follow up information or data are quickly made available by his staff. Questions are always answered and any follow up information is made available quickly, usually the next day. Phone calls are always returned quickly also.I'm always made aware of any prognoses if there are any problems discovered and the problems are always treated and I end up not having to worry about anything and return to my previous peace of mind.
