Dr. Stephen Scott Grubbs, MD

I have been a patient of DR. Grubbs since 1994. He diagnosed my Hodgkin's lymphoma. I had been in remission for 19 years. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer caused from prior radiation treatment. Dr. Grubbs was aware of this and was sending me for early mammograms. He has been a wonderful doctor and he tells it like it is. I like that about him. I am seeing him now and I respect his expertise when it come to dealing with my cancer. I am so glad I was referred to him. He also allows my family to be in the room with me which is nice because they are my support system.

Was very hard to get a hold of. Never communicated condition with my sister. Other Doctors filling in for him said she should have gone to Penn. Took offense to family members asking questions...he asked if we were the new task masters! Told my sister she would die in a couple weeks and said he would not lie to her ...just being straight. It is a shame he didn't call the family in for support. When office was called, no one would return calls. He finally came to her hospital room after 20+ calls and told her she was dying. It just seems as her conditioned worsened, he should have been the one to reccommend a better suited facility. We were told the hospital only had 3 types of chemo, and she would have been better off elsewhere, but she was gone then!

Dr. Grubbs and Dr. Martin are two of the best cancer doctors in Delaware. Either one would be an asset to your team.
