Dr. Stephen Howard Grund, MD

Dr Grund is by far the most respected Dr. I look forward to my visits with him. He has put me and my family at rest just by tlking to us.He is an amazing person as well as an awesome Doctor.

My experience with Dr.Grund was excellent. He treated me with kindness and understanding. I'm convinced he saved my life! He was very professional every step of the way.

Affliction - Lung Cancer (Adenoncarcinoma)This doctor is NOT a Thoracic oncologist; his specialty is Hematology & chemotherapy. Why his office staff made an appointment to see him is anyones guessmaybe the possibility of losing a patient to a medical group that is a competitor????Overall attitude of this doctor is arrogant & inconsiderate. Thinks nothing of intentionally stacking patients in their waiting room and have them wait in excess of an hour when he knowingly schedules patients every fifteen minutes. When challenged his excuses are extremely weak.This doctors recommendation for treatment was not remotely close to what the Dana Farber Cancer Institute suggested as the best course of treatment. This doctor also impeded radiation therapy which the Dana Farber Institute indicated would be beneficial.If you have lung cancer it is my opinion that this doctor has limited abilities. Search out a doctor that specializes in thoracic oncology.

He was very concerned and expeditious in diagnosing my problem so that my lung cancer surgery could go forward before he left for a medical convention several states away. He solved a problem that another hematologist bungled badly. My cancer surgeon had high praise for him and urged that I always call on Dr. Grund if I ever needed blood work in the future. I have no intenions of seeing anyone else if the need develops.
