Dr. Hamilton is the best. He is always on top of the most current Medical options and opinions... would not think of going somewhere else!

I have been going to Dr. Hamilton for more than 20 years. He is an excellent physician. Very knowledgeable and approachable.

He is insinsative, rude and doesn't listen to the situation. Doesn't follow up. Would never see him again.

Does not pay attention to details, especially if it is a medical issue unrelated to internal medicine. Sometimes appears rushed and distracted. Constantly late with appointments.

Dr. Hamilton is rude, treats patients like they are dirt and has not clue how to treat anything that can't be measured by a blood test. I allowed him to do a pap smear on me one year, and he was absolutely horrible. He caused me lots of pain and treated me so poorly I left his office extremely stressed.

I saw Dr. Hamilton from 2012 thru 2014. Every time I was seen (which I might add was at least every 6 months and sometimes even more frequently) he had no clue who I was. I was in constant pain in different areas, each time I visited he sat at his computer wanted to know why I was there, yawned the ENTIRE time I was in the office, closed his eyes and looked like he was napping while I was talking and giving him the information about my issues. Once he updated or whatever he did with his computer his answer was ALWAYS you are overweight and need to diet and exercise and some of your pain issues would subside. Never once except for being pressed (got 1 X-ray) did he send me for an X-ray, MRI or any other testing. Just blood work. At that point after the blood work, he would only be concerned about my cholesterol. Well, with that being said, I was in so much pain I went to the ER, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and had a BASKETBALL size mass on my ovary. I'm lucky to be… here today to give you this information before making an appointment with him.

I have been with Dr. Hamilton for 20 years and have always found him to be caring and listens very well. The office itself has gotten too big and the staff is sometimes difficult to deal with. Dr. Hamilton has always called me personally with any test results that I need to know about.

I have been under Dr. Hamilton care for more than 20 years. He is OK but he is in a *very bad* environment to the point that I am looking for someone else. I think he could be one of the best out there but the company he works for is just a "factory". The Office staff has been consistently rude and even after been told that someone would get back to me -- no one did -- several times. Late appointments are usual (2-3 hrs once). I think Dr. Hamilton is an exceptional doctor that has fallen. I wish him the best but I am not going to get hurt by the incompetent management of that shop!

Not someone you want to speak with. He is rude, terrible bedside manners, thinks he is omnipotent and that only he knows. Criticizes other doctor's (specialists) advise. Find yourself a caring doctor.

Today was my last bad experience with Annapolis Internal Medicine as I am changing practices immediately. Having been a patient since 2006 but rarely needing to go to the doctor (I'm 32 years old and see my OBGYN regularly), I show up at the Walk-In Clinic for patients only. This is after trying to make an appointment via phone and being on hold for 30 minutes, and then trying to use the online appointment form which failed to work for reasons I don't understand. So I try the Walk-In Clinic. I am very sick with earache and sore throat and can barely talk. They sign me in, find my records in the computer and I wait for 20 minutes before they tell me since I haven't been to the practice in 3 years I am not eligible for walk-in services and my doctor has "done me a favor" by offering to see me in 2 hours.It is unbelievable to me that they would turn away a sick patient that is IN THE SYSTEM. I had no choice but to go home and come back, only to be there for another hour and 45 minutes. I… am amazed at the inefficiency of their front desk staff (there are so many of them both in the walk-in clinic and the main office yet I was on hold for 30 minutes) and at the lack of caring/care in a so-called walk-in clinic.This is a review of Annapolis Internal Medicine overall: I have had other issues with the "care" I've been provided in the past but this is it. I will not go back. In a pretty small town, I'm surprised they can get away with such poor service and care. My husband's doctor, for whom I would be a new patient, offered to see me the same day, when my own office "did me a favor".
