Dr. Stephen V Hamn, MD

Dr Hamn is absolutely amazing in all he does. Eight years ago I had weight loss surgery with him with success beyond what I ever could of imagined. Recently I had to have emergency surgery and he was there providing the best care ever!!! He actually saved my life. You could not ask for better surgeon with all the experience that he has.

Dr. Hamn performed bariatric surgeon on me several years ago. The surgery itself was uneventful. The aftercare was nonexistent. I had many side effects that I was not warned about. Dr. Hamn and his staff were most unhelpful. Don’t expect much care or interest after your surgery. I would never recommend this doctor.

I have heard about, and have been referred to Dr. Hamn through 2 of my other doctors. I was amazed at my last appointment, as I was the last appointment of the day. Dr. Hamn took his time addressing my personal health issues, and was genuinely sincere in his desire to be absolutely sure about a concern of his regarding my surgery,rather than rushing in and finding out there were problems he was facing during surgery, as a result of not doing his "homework" as he was doing while I was there.Toni, one of his staff, is a wonderful person to "work" with, in my opinion, as a patient. She knows her job very well, and also brings to the table a wealth of knowledge about what she does, and incorporates professionalism that is personal. You feel as though you are definitely in the right place.Another staff member Keisha has been so nice to have as the front line contact individual in Dr. Hamn's office.He is extremely "thoughtful", kind yes, however, I use the word thoughtful in the context in… that you can tell he is quietly thinking about your individual case and what his next step will be. I appreciate doctor who works this way, and doesn't fly by the "seat of their pants", so to speak. Believe it or not, I have experienced treatment from doctor's such as those who do, it's a privilege to be able to be treated by a surgeon who puts so much of himself into how his patients are, rather than acting as though they are put out that they are still in the office. You know when someone feels like they can't get you out of the office soon enough, which really worries me, as I definitely do not like putting a doctor out, or be inconvenient for them, in the least.
