If I could give a zero I would. They are listed as accepting new patients with Blue Cross. I called them, was sent to a "screener". She took my information (I'm withholding her name to be nice), for payment. Then asked what we would be getting seen for, I asked if it mattered in being accepted. She said no, LIE. As soon as she heard I needed a referral to pain management for multiple diseases in my back, she said she'd call back. I never heard from her so I selected them as my pcp, as they were accepting new patients. I called to make my first appointment, which only the "screener" can do. I was then informed by the same person that they are full and not accepting new patients. I was referred to them by Blue Cross after a rep had spoken to them to make sure we could go there. Now once again on hold trying to find another dr that hopefully doesn't discriminate against people with real issues. NOT EVERYONE IS A DRUG ADDICT. If you call here, that's how you will be treated. I wanted to… try physical therapy to see if it would help my condition, evidentally helping people isn't what they do.

Dr. Harbin cares for me and my two sons. He is a genuinely kind and compassionate individual. It took a while to actually get accepted as a patient, but it was worth the wait.

Dr. Harbin is a very fine doctor. He has correctly diagnosed conditions in me and my wife that other doctors missed. For example, I went to him when I was having severe abdominal pain. Other doctors had written off the problem as non-serious because the pain eventually subsided after each attack. One doctor (from Huntsville) tried to use my fear about the condition to get me to sign up for an expensive hiatal hernia surgery, a con job that by the grace of God I saw thru in time. Dr. Harbin correctly diagnosed the conditon as gallstones on my very first visit. Good thing I went to him, because it turned out my gall bladder was infected and would have soon become life-threatening if not fixed! Also, for many months my wife struggled with a skin dryness problem on her legs that even her high-priced dermatologist couldn't fix with expensive prescription ointments. Dr. Harbin, though not a dermatologist, was able to correctly diagnose what was wrong and prescribed a simple over-the-counter… moisturizer that cleared up the problem in just a few days. We are sold on this doctor and he will be our physician as long as he has a practice in Decatur.

Dr. Harbin has been very caring with me. He diagnosised my problem right away. He gave me good treatment and also followed up with my care in my next vist .

He is a very nice individual, and thorough in testing, but on SEVERAL occasions he gave inaccurate diagnosis and course of treatment. We had to find another doctor
