Top-drawer facility, super staff, excellent radiologist!

I first visited Advanced Imaging in the Fall of 2016 with primary and secondary opinions to immediately have my left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to a suspicion of cancer. An unemployed full-time student, three months new to Redding and 3,000 miles away from home, I felt completely blindsided. And, to make matters worse, I was notified while checking in for my appointment that my insurance had been cancelled. I had never been in a more frightening medical situation or felt more vulnerable. Little did I know, I couldn’t have been in the care of a more equipped and prepared provider. While I sat in the dressing room on that Friday in tears, half-dressed and half-panicked unable to reach the HR department of my former east coast employer, I was surrounded by the reassuring voices of the staff telling me not to worry and to take the time I needed, while unbeknownst to me they scurried to take full advantage of the fact that patients scheduled after me had conveniently… arrived extra early. By the time my name was called again, everything had been corrected and my insurance reinstated. What’s more, Dr. Hecht took the time to fully understand my health and provide me the comprehensive insights needed for my treatment. It was his conscientiousness, determination and recommendations for further testing that insured that I was well able to make the most informed decision concerning my care. As a result I confidently opted not to proceed with the recommended surgery; and I am so very grateful that I did. It was confirmed at my 3, 6 and 12-month follow up doctor visits that the ultrasound images were not cancer at all, but a dermoid cyst as suggested by Dr. Hecht’s reports. I have never received a higher quality of professional and comprehensive yet compassionate, kind and personable healthcare. And I have never felt more safe and at peace in a medical facility than I did at Advanced Imaging with Dr. Hecht and his team! I truly struggle to fully express my thankfulness and gratitude for my experience at Advanced Imaging, but there are three things that I know for certain: 1) They are clearly committed to providing a quality of healthcare services that is unmatched; 2) They did just that for me, hands down; and 3) When given the choice, I will not trust myself or my loved ones to anyone else.
