Dr Heim has replaced both of my hips, did arthoscopic surgery on my right knee and just replaced my my left knee. He is the best orthopedic surgeon there is and i would recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Heim has operated on both my wrist and both knees. Each time he was extremely professional, caring and compassionate. He thoroughly explained the procedures, risk and expected outcomes. I have had 8 surgeries under Dr. Heim's knife and when the time comes to replace my knees I will go under his knife again. You just don't find many wonderful doctors like Dr Heim these days.

Dr. Heim performed rotator cuff surgery on me two weeks ago. My shoulder was exceptionally messed up and my pain was terrible. I was afraid of this particular surgery having worked in the medical field primarily orthopedics and knowing how painful it was. However I had no choice since my shoulder was so painful and nonfunctional. It was my right arm and my dominate side. Two weeks following surgery I am amazed at the absence of most of the pain. Dr. Heim has a terrific bedside manner. He releaves most of your fear and anxiety by joking around and teasing. He is fun to be around but most of all he is a terrific surgeon.

Fantastic surgeon. Truthful. Doesn't try to treat you with shots and things he knows will not help you!

Had my 14 year old son in for simple wrist fracture/casting. My son quietly said "easy" as he was moving his arm around and the doctor stated "you have a broke arm, this is what we do here, we touch people. If you don't want me to do this, well..." and then just sort of huffed. We are booked on a cruise in 4 weeks so I have researched and was interested in a waterproof cast and he informed me that "those don't exist, they tried that and it doesn't work", although I have read that they are used in some places very successfully. On a positive note "Amy", who actually put the cast on his arm, was very professional and competent.

I have had both my left and right rotator cuff surgically repaired by Dr. Heim. I have zero complaints. My wife is about to have total knee replacement on both knees. There is no other Orthopedic surgeon that anyone in my family would even consider. He is without a doubt the best orthopedic surgeon around.
