Went to the emergency room for a very painful problem in a private place. He was very un caring and when I explained I had similar issues in the past, but not internal like this, he was quick to assume that because I had a colonoscopy before then I must have had this kind of issue before. I said no the colonoscopy was with another doctor and completely unrelated to the issue I was having now. But he was very arrogant and wanted to be right and just wanted to leave the room I felt. I told him that I felt like I had something hard and sharp up inside me and it didn't feel right. He then made another route on appropriate comment and said well why would there be something hard and sharp up inside you? A very rude and unappropriate comment. As if I had put something in there. As much pain as I was in and he saw me crying, I think if I had put something in there I would have said Doctor there's something in there please get it out. Obviously, I didn't put anything in there and I'm in a lot… of pain and crying and that's why I'm in the emergency room for him to figure that out not to try to degrade me and have him make rude comments like I had done this to myself. Thank goodness he went off shift and another nice Dr named dr. Hendricks came in and was so much more helpful and non condescending and arrogant and try to help. Sadly she couldn't do anything but give me some cream and refer me to a GI doctor and I'm still waiting with the same pain. Hopefully soon somebody can help me

While at ER Dr was rude, condescending, was not concerned about my health. He never even examed me but im sure i will receive a bill for his service. Dr Hocheder does not deserve to be called Dr.

ER was perfect...as has been for the past 20 years..Dr Stephen Hocheder..very unexcuseable verbal conduct...

He was the most professional, thorough and compassionate doctor ive ever encountered. I come from a family of physicians and I wish he was my personal doctor

ill manner, rude and prejudice. Doen not like Hispanics.
