Dr. Stephen Michael J Hoffman, DO

This is my fourth colonoscopy and and because of the professional yet very friendly service I received from everyone connected with this procedure, including the staff from St. John Oakland, this was the best procedure yet.

Prep was poorly handled. Had to have my driver wait since I had to take the laxative drink one hour before driver arrived and was afraid of having an accident in his car. Anestheologist did not introduce herself or what she was and talked so fast I had to ask her to slow down. Dr performed colonoscopy and found pollyps but did not remove them since I had only been free of blood thinners for three days and not a week as he would have preferred. In that case he should not have perfomed the procedure. Now I have to have another colonoscopy and was told to return for it. I will not go there again or see this dr.
