Dr. Stephen H Jackson, MD

I'm a 33 year patient of Dr. Jackson. He has performed multiple surgeries on myself and family members with great results. When we need orthopedic help, we first check with Dr. Jackson. The few times we've needed help he could not provide, he has referred us to great specialist.

He acted like he didn't have time to bother me. I went to him for knee pain. He didn't look at my xray, didn't even look at or touch my knee, or ask me where it was hurting. He gave me a shot, muttered about having to chart over 60 patients that evening and ran out the door. Pitiful.

Dr. Jackson has performed hand surgery on me and many family members with great results. He has also replaced knees on many family friends with great results. He is very good at his profession. He takes an interest in getting you well and I like that. He is straightforward and to the point.

Dr a smart mouth has no idea what he's talking about had to be referred to another doctor before I got my leg fixed this doctor should not even have a license

I had knee pain and now I can walk again without pain.

He was compassionate. Before the x-rays had been taken and orocessed, the ER nurses, staff, and rad tech were telling me to be quiet, he never told me to be quiet. Suppose he realized the severity of my injury. He was straightforward and told me about the grave and guarded injury that I had sustained prior to going to surgery. After working all day and having to spend all night and early morning hours in the ER and OR with me, he came back to my room first thing in the morning to tell me about the surgery. Told me that if I needed ,anything over the weekend, to call him and he would tend to it as quickly as he could. Fifteen years later, while I still see him for the same injury, he wants to ensure that it is healing properly and my avascular necrosis has not caused the talus to collapse which would require additional surgery.

My husband and my over all satisfaction was good. There were a couple of times when his bedside manner lacked to be desired. But we all have our off days. He did know his business and diagnosed the problem promplty. We would return if the situation ever were to arise. His staff were always helpful and courtious.

I was very pleased with everything about Dr. Jackson. He performed surgery on me and the outcome was excellent!!
