Dr. Stephen Fred Jones, MD

I had been going here for years with no issues until recently. Yesterday I was told I had to get a pap smear due to insurance requirements. After checking with Blue Cross, they informed my husband and me that this was incorrect. it’s considered preventative care and not mandatory.Then Today, my husband went to pick up my prescription (which the pharmacy never received). He informed the office of what Blue Cross said, and Dr. Jones responded that it would affect me later. When my husband said we’d find a new doctor, Dr. Jones replied, “Good, we don’t want any troublemakers.”This is the first complaint I’ve ever made, and sadly, it’s with a new doctor.

Steven Jones lied about a blood test for cancer to my husband! I could have had 4 wonderful last months with my husband , but instead we spent those 4 months trying to figure out what was wrong and he was in major pain! This man is a joke as a doctor! I will refuse care by this man!! This man lies and takes the money for the test and either did not do the test or lied to my husband about the test!! This was in 2010!!

He has been the first doctor that myself and my husband has seen that we both agree is a man that truly cares for his patients. I have had the same doctor for nearly 15 years and due to his office being closed I had to visit another doctor and it happened to be Dr. Jones, needless to say we will only be seeing him from this point forward! I highly suggest him if you need a doctor! He is wonderful and really cares and that is something you can't find in doctors these days!
