You can have regular spine surgery or you can have Dr. Kalhorn fix you. The hospital food was good too.

I had really bad pain. I wasn't even able to walk towards the end of the day. Dr. Kalhorn performed a scoliosis operation on me. I am now able to walk upright. I have no pain. I take an occasional Tylenol but nothing more. His care and skills are exceptional.

I had surgery with Dr. Kalhorn and I did great. I had a very complex problem and I was told he was the person to go to. Boy am I glad. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family for neurosurgical or spinal issues.

Dr. Kalhorn is a very caring, much more personable than most Doctors today. He is very responsive to your every concern. If you ask him or his staff a question with my experience it will most likely be himself to respond, via telephone, or message. I have had one laminectomy surgery that Dr. Kalhorn performed. My recovery time was excellent, however I had much more problems that I chose not to address at the time. I have full faith in him to perform a much more invasive surgery coming up soon. I will write a new review after that surgery. At the VA in Charleston Dr. Kalhorn performs surgeries on Fridays, so he is limited on scheduling there.
