It’s not his cancer , that’s his crappy attitude when you walk in his office with the most devastating news of your life. Do yourself a favor go to Boston, it’s worth the trip. Your 30 minutes away from great care. DONT SETTLE . Karp don’t care about you, and he shows it.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR KARP FOR 15 YEARS. HE WAS THE SURGEON WHO PERFORMED THE BREAST SURGERY BACK THEN. I HAVE RETURNED EACH YEAR TO LAHEY FOR MY ANNUAL MAMMOGRAM AND CHECKUP. EACH TIME DR KARP HAD BEEN AVAILABLE FOR THESE SCHEDULED VISITS. I HAVE THE HIGHEST PRAISE FOR HIM. HE IS PROFESSIONAL , HIGHLY SKILLED, AND THOROUGH.

Dr. Karp continues to be a calm pleasant person. I'm not always calm, but when I notice that he is, I feel better.

I went to Dr. Karp for my masectomy for breast cancer, he was extreamly uncaring and I felt like I was talking to a bartender rather than a doctor. He left me with a large bump in the middle of my chest, the size of a tennis ball and stated that "there is nothing wrong with that, other than being unattractive". Yes, I am quoting him.

Dr. Karp literally saved my life. I truly believe that. He is an exceptional doctor and surgeon, as well as very personable. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.

Great care. Bedside manner seems brusque at first but it was just what I needed to make me realize how serious it was. Very down to earth and caring.

I was on an emotional roller coaster before coming to Dr. Karp. He explained everything so I could understand it, and I left feeling 100% better than before I went in. Breast Cancer is scary enough, but if you are not with the right Doctor, it can be overwhelming. This is the right Doctor.
