Black hills eye institute I now wish I never heard of the black hills eye institute or met dr Khachikian. My nightmare started the morning of my cataract surgery. It took five attempts to get my iv started I was ready to quit after the second attempt and I should have walked out. At some point during the surgery I woke up and was in terrible pain it felt like they were going to pull my eye out of the socket there was someone telling me it was almost over so they knew I was awake. I have had nothing but problems with the implant. I told dr khachikian I could see the edges of the lens and have reflection off the edge plus’s halos around lights and all he tells me is that I will get use to it it’s been a year and I still have problems. If I had a choice I would take back my cataract because I had less problems with it. If I could give negative stars I would. Be leary of this place.
