Dr. Kim did a horrible job and brought me to tears several times by not hearing me out with my concerns. I ended up getting the opinion of many more doctors, all of which agreed that he did a... shall we say "inadequate" job to be politically correct? I ended up getting the revision, but since he compromised all of my soft tissue, the instability can likely never be fixed without a hinged joint, which I didn't want in the first place. I wish I had done more research and read more honest reviews. I want to be mature about this, but I just cant believe i put my mobility, and therefore, quality of life in his hands. smh

I recently had a knee replacement and Dr Stephen Kim did an excellent job preparing me for the surgery, completing the surgery and post surgery. I highly recommend him.

His surgery was a failure of epic proportions. I was far better off before his operation and have had multiple doctors agree that he made poor decisions and errors during the operation. On top of that, he ignored my complaints. Biggest regret of my life.

I have had both my hips replaced and referred my mother for her hip (Dr. Kim replaced her hip and she just turned 80 and walking great!) I am in healthcare and found Dr. Kim progressive, responsive and with excellent outcomes! I tell all my medical professional friends and family: see Dr. Kim. He is wonderful!

Dr. Kim performed a Total Knee Replacement (TKR) on my right knee in 2017 and the results were so positive that I did my left knee 11 weeks ago with what seems now to be even better results. After these 2 experiences, I can confidently say that when it comes to a Total Knee Replacement procedure, you cannot find a better surgeon than Dr. Kim. He takes all the time needed to explain what will take place and what needs to happen to get the best results. Then, when the time comes for the surgery, he does exactly what he says he would do. As a Total Knee Replacement is a MAJOR surgery, I would not think twice in recommending Dr. Kim to anyone. If you follow his instructions, you will have positive results.

If you are looking for the best Oorthopedic Surgeon for knee or hip replacement Dr. Kim is the one! Dr. Kim replaced both of my knees, 7 years and 8 months ago and was fantastic. I had complete trust in his abilities and excellent care from him as well as Andrea and Josh. Having a good Physical Therapist is also key to and excellent recovery. All the Physical Therapist I talk to highly recommend Dr. Kim and that speaks volumes as well as an excellent reputation!

Since 2012 I've had 2 hip resurfacing surgeries (1 on each hip), which not everyone can do, and a knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Kim. I've been completely satisfied by his professional and personal skills and have recommended him to a number of friends. The office staff is also very helpful. It also impresses me the number of people in the local medical community who always speak highly of him. I hope my other knee doesn't develop a problem, but it is does, I'd go back to Dr. Kim in a heartbeat.
