Our experience with Dr. Kim is nothing short of amazing. He quickly diagnosed and treated our child, saving her life. The care he provided for our child and for us as parents was outstanding.

Our experience with Dr. Kim was nothing short of miserable. My son went in on an emergency basis with a collapsed lung. Dr. Kim immediately pushed us to do surgery and when I requested a thoracic consult, my request was ignored. He failed to do the proper testing, like a CT scan to properly assess the lung to find out exactly what damage would need to be repaired. After leaving our room trying to get us to consent to surgery first thing the next morning, my son requested that Dr. Kim come back for a quick minute to ask another question, Dr. Kim said it was too late in the evening, it could wait until the next day. Moments later I caught Dr, Kim & the nurse in the hallway making fun of the questions we wanted answers to, questions about surgery. I had informed Dr. Kim that my son suffered from PTS associated with several surgical procedures as a toddler as soon as we met him the first night, therefore his anxiety level was off the charts. This was never taken into consideration by Dr.… Kim. We did not use Dr. Kim for our surgery, we went went a thoracic specialist, and very happy we did. I would not recommend Dr. Kim to anyone.
