Dr Kovacs provided me with expert care in doing a mohs procedure and reconstruction for a skin cancer on the side of my face. The area was large and the scar is barely visible after 3 months. I am very pleased and highly recommend his services.

I had a biopsy at my first appointment with Dr. Kovacs and was contacted the following day to confirm I had squamous cell skin cancer on my nose and jawline. I had a Mohs procedure done the following week! This was 4 months ago and it is nearly impossible to see any scarring. I found Dr.Kovacs and his staff very professional and friendly. Mohs surgery on my nostril. I was anxious about the procedure and possible scaring. Dr Kovaks gave me the information I needed, and did two rounds of Mohs which I appreciated. Rather take a little bit instead of too much. I feel reassured that everything that needed to be romoved was. The care needed after surgery was explained in enough detail and clarity that I was able to follow his instructions. I healed very well.

Besides getting a bit lost finding his Brighton Office, Dr. Kovacs and his staff were wonderful. I had to have some "stuff" removed from my scalp, right on the top, just back from the hairline. I've had similar removals done for 30 years, so I know what the drill is. Dr. Kovacs was thoughtful about the incision location and angle and very careful to minimize the affect on my appearance. His staff at BOTH offices were kind and helpful as well. I have healed completely and have no obvious "bald spots" in my hair. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr Kovacs for at least 20 years. I have fair akin and from carelessly spending too much time in the sun I now suffer with periodic bouts of skin cancer. A recent surgery for a melanoma, extremely close to my eye, was removed with no nerve damage to my eye and no discernable scarring. He is an excellent surgeon and truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain the entire procedure and takes the time to answer any questions and concerns that you might have. He also explained that melanomas are the most serious form of skin cancers that will require check-ups every 6 months. I highly recommend Dr Kovacs .
