Dr. Stephen F Kowalski, MD

Brilliant.

Dr. Kolwaski is an excellent doctor that consistantly listens well before offering his opinions and recommendations. He is respectful of the patient and contemplative and thorough when considering a diagnosis. Dr. Kowalski is very deliberate and extremely knowledgeable regarding medication. He spends the time necessary to insure the patient is aware of side effects as well as expected benefits so as to "tweak" the dosage to optimize the outcome. Dr. Kowalski encourages constant communication with him during this process and is available for phone consulation with any questions or concerns while the patient is exploring different medication options. He is genuinely invested in the health of his patients and considers treatment plan(s) that optimize the opportunity for success based on what is necessary for the patient instead of a plan that just keeps you coming back indefinitely. Dr. Kowalski certainly is one that offers his patients the chance for self awareness and recovery in a… compassionate, safe enviroment.

I've been to many Drs over the past 11 years. I'm Bi-Polar and I have ADHD. Over the years, I've been misdiagnosed and treated like a guinea pig with various medications. Dr.Kowalski was recommended by a friend for how beneficial he is to their bi-polar son. It's very difficult for me to trust ANY Dr. after the blatant misconduct of a previous one, but Dr K makes me totally at ease. He's very intelligent but not impersonal. Though i may have to wait in the waiting room a few mins past my appointment time, he is always courteous, and still gives me my full time session even if it runs into the next persons time somewhat. Very attentive and obviously cares for his patients. Encouraging and supportive and helpful at addressing personal problems as well as medical ones. I couldn't be happier.
