Dr. Stephen Mordecai Kreitzer, MD

I was workers compensation. He knew I had a seizure but ignored it. CT showed MAI and he told me it was okay.

I have seen Dr. Kreitzer for over 23 years after having lung damage that went undiagnosed before I saw him and he put me through testing to find the precise problem and treat it. I've been very impressed with his caring attitude and diagnostic knowledge!

Dr. Kreitzer treated my mother for over 20 years, and he not only extended her life, but she was also able to have a higher quality of life. His staff was always courteous, and returned calls in a timely manner. When her condition exacerbated, which it would and rather quickly, his staff would "work her in", and Dr. Kreitzer would treat her. My Mother, God rest her soul, could be abrupt with the staff, in particular when she had difficulty breathing, the staff was always very nice and professional with her. Dr. Kreitzer is not only an outstanding physician, but a true "Mensch"!!! Words cannot describe the excellent care that my Mother received from this practice.

After calling 3 days in a row trying to schedule an appointment for my son and leaving messages for "Arlene", I never got a return call. After calling yet again,someone finally spoke to me (more like grunted at me over the phone),asked for his information, put me on hold twice and finally said they don't see pulmonary patients under 18. When you have a sick child, you shouldn't have to wait to hear back from an office for days or be treated so rudely and unprofessionally. The doctor could be the best doctor in the world but his office staff can harm his business and reputation. All around a very frustrating and stressful experience for what should have been a one phone call, quick answer ("sorry, we don't see pulmonary patients under 18")situation instead of 4 days of waiting for someone to contact me!

Dr. Kreitzer diagnosed my asthma and sleep apnea and I was treated by him for two years before I relocated out of state. If I had the extra money I would fly to Tampa every three months for my appointment. Top notch, I will miss him and his staff. RWB
