Dr. Stephen Francis Laga, MD

Dr. Laga was an excellent doctor. I would not go to any other Cardio Thorasic Surgeon except him. His knowledge and experience are priceless .

Dr Laga saved my husbands life. If we had not seen him right away and his diagnosis be right on target ,he would not be here to enjoy the holidays. He was just wonderful to both of us before and after his surgery.

Unable to determine source of irritation. When questioned Dr. Laga lost his cool. Unreasonable staff with attitude.

I have known Dr. Laga for quite a long time and he was my mom and dad's doctor so he became our family doctor. He is very down to earth and a roll your shirt sleves up kind of doctor which is rare. He tells you the good and the bad straight up and patients need that. He is intelligent and has a good dry wit. For a doctor he is an invaluable quarterback for your medical team and he is highly trained. He has good ethics. Both my parents were diabetics and should have died in their early 60's like their siblings did. He performed and spearheaded my parents bypass operations and with his guidance they started a good regimin using diet, insulin and proper meds. They lived well beyound their life expectancy. My dad should have died in his 60's and he passed away at 76. I think it's pretty good for an old guy with an irregular heart beat, smoker, and being 100lbs over weight with diabetes. My mom lasted to 84 she should have also died in her early 60's. I know he worked… tirelessly with my parents and his wife must be very understanding. Dr. Laga gets an A+ for his effort, ability, and follow through. He is a best pick.

Went to him for surgery. He doesn't like people that don't have the same beliefs and heritage as him. He also has a poor track record with patients.

Once again he has saved another family member. My sister was recently in the hospital with several medical issues for over one month. While there, she needed surgery which Dr Laga performed to save her from losing her legs. We have all thanked God that he has blessed us with Dr Laga and his great skills. During her long stay, he visited her every day to follow her progress. We could never thank him enough for all he has done.

He recently left CVT Surgeons and opened his own surgical practice. Helter skelter and confusion. Too many staff problems and taking it out on the patients.

Dr. Laga made a fatal error with my brother. He has a childish temper which he utilizes in order to avoid questions and responsibility. His staff is outspoken and rude and intimidating. Its all a cover up mentality.

I came to the emergency room with severed arteries and veins in my elbow. Dr. Laga was immediately available, did a fantastic job in reconnecting these vessels with a vein from my leg. He saw me every day in the hospital, was sympathic, kind and personal. My elbow healed in record time. I'd trust him with any vascular surgical need.

Botched surgery. Makes up stories to cover himself. Be careful what you say, it ends up all over the hospital.
