Dr. Stephen Charles Lambert, MD

We love The Family Practice/After Hours Clinic but cringe everytime we get stuck with Dr. Stephen Lambert.  He has a history of rude remarks and poor diagnosises.  I understand that everyone makes mistakes including doctors but we've had multiple problems with this particular doctor.  His most notable misdiagnosis was a few months ago when he assured my wife that our 18 month old didn't have pneumonia, that it was just bronchitis and there was no need for chest x-rays. Less than 12hrs later our son was in the ER on 4 liters of oxygen and then a few more hours later transported via critical care ambulance to Jackson.  Our most recent encounter with him involved my 9yr old daughter with a foot injury.  During the visit he asked her to point at the part that hurt the most. She proceeded to point side to side where her toes meet her foot. He then in a very snappy manner told her "No just one spot, hurry up, I have like 10 more people to see and I don't have time to sit and wait for you to… show me". There were other rude comments but that's the one that reduced her to tears once he left the room.  As I said in the beginning, we love the clinic but Dr. Stephen Lambert is awful.

I have found Dr. Lambert to be an intelligent and caring doctor. I was highly impressed with how much time he spent with me. He is personable and helpful.

hes rude and arrogant just cares about the dollar sign not his patients.
