Dr. Stephen Leenay, MD

I went to Dr Lennay for almost 1year. I found him to be condescending and he barely listened when I spoke. A friend who was an OR nurse at North Memorial researched a much better doctor for me

This doc epitomizes what a good internist should be! He listens, asks the right questions and always takes a conservative approach, if appropriate.

I do not recommend Dr. Leenay. He was the 3rd Dr. I had seen for neck and arm pain. I had tried everything possible to help my situation. He did not want to do an MRI but instead recommended physical therapy again which did not help. Turned out I needed Anterior Cervical Disectomy and Fusion Surgery at 2 levels in my neck. I will never go back to him or recommend him to anyone.

I have seen Dr. Leenay for 3-4 years now for several things, including two serious illnesses. He is very, very knowledgeable, as always taken the time to listen and asks thorough questions. He will do what it takes/necessary, but I appreciate that he takes a practical approach. He may seem a little "serious", but he truly is just a quieter "friendly".
