He modified a surgical device that led to internal bleeding. I had to have it removed at another hospital, who then informed me I never needed the device in the first place.

Modified a surgical piece before placing in body against the recommendation of the FDA. Causing great pain, starvation and sleep deprivation. Dr. Lowry Would not so much as give an apology. Go to a better surgeon if you at all can. I wish you better Health than he provides.

He has operated on my mother multiple times and she loves him. He's helped with a very difficult situation and made it easier then it could have been. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Lowry completed a complicated surgical procedure on my father. He prepared us for best and worst case scenarios. Luckily, we got the better of the two situations, but he was honest, polite, and knowledgeable. He has one of the best bedside manners of any doctor I have ever come in contact with. We could not have asked for better care or surgical skill when it came to what it was he had to do and if my father could use a computer he would say the same.

Dr. Lowry is one amazing physician. He took time to explain to me what was happening and wasted no time taking care of what he needed to do to fix it. He showed interest in me as a person and was genuinely concerned for my well being.

Dr Lowry was very good to me and he is a great surgeon I think he needs to learn more about after care for his whipple patients and the medication Creon that many of us need to wrote the prescription for me to take one 6,000 unit capsule 3 times a day once I read up on my creon I found he does not know much about it. I had a pain since surgery and they have ran many test finally I read up on my creon with suggestion from other whipple patients in my support group www.whipplewarriors.com and I am doing much better I have menationed this to him a few times but he has not done anything about it.

Dr. Lowery saved my life and I will forever be grateful for that. He was very patient and honest and didnt sugar coat anything. He was very straight forward and went over my options for the emergency surgery. When he felt I needed anything to make my stay at the hospital more comfortable, he went above and beyond his duty as a surgeon. Forever grateful to this man.

Poor service and unprofessional

He gets to know his patience and really cares about you long term. He is focused on what to do moving forward - not what you did to get ill...I love him and would recommend him to anyone.
