Dr. Macedo has been my primary care doctor for many years. I find him to be one of the most caring physicians I have had any contact with over my 80 years. He gives you straight forward answers to your questions and tells it as it is.

Dr. Macedo was on call when I called in with some concerns about my newborn. He was extremely rude to me and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I would not recommend his services to anyone, and he should learn how to speak to people with some respect.

Couldn't ask for a better Doctor.

I have recommended him to many people for the care of their children. He is VERY proactive and works well with the children. He always talks to the children. I have worked with him with a special needs child (he was very proactive with this child and was also very compassionate. He returns call and listens to concerns of the parents). With my other son, he has been very thorough. My children love him and look forward to going to see him. Recently, we have even transferred my husband over to his care. Excellent doctor.

My daughter has had a horrible time with spitting up since birth. He had me thicken her milk, keep her sitting up longer periods after she ate. Nothing helped. I made a couple appointments for this. She would spit up after every bottle, and not just a small amount. She would projectile spit up sometimes. I asked about possibly being lactose intolerant because she spit up breast milk and formula alike. "No, no, some babies just spit up a lot." He stated since she was putting on weight she was fine, however I was putting 5 Tbs of rice cereal each bottle, she is going to gain weight, not for the right reasons though. She is now nearly 6 months old. I changed her formula to soy on my own, and stopped thickening it.........she's doing FINE now. Almost 6 months of not listening to me that something was wrong.

I am only giving Dr. Macedo a Moderate rating because while he was able to determine my daughter had scholiosis before the Xray's, he told a 15 yr old emotional teenage girl, that she was Morbidly Obese. I understand it is an issue, but have you no tact? He could have simply stated her weight was a concern to him. I spent the next 3 hours trying to calm a crying child. Not a fun experiance for anyone.
