Dr. Stephen Ray Marks, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Marks for 37 years. He delivered both of my children and performed my hysterectomy. He is extremely knowledgeable and his bedside manners are extraordinary. He explains everything to the fullest and makes every patient feel at ease. He and his office staff are among the best of the best.

I have been a patient of Stephen Marks for over 35 years. He deliver both of my boys (32 and 35). He was by himself in his practice when I started seeing him, but he was always there no matter how crazy stupid my questions or fears were (having a prior miscarriage their were many). He is so very kind pulling me through 5 miscarriages in 3 years; more than once crying with me over the loss, holding my hand in one while his other arm was around my shoulder. His humor is dry but contagious, try being 9.5 months pregnant in an elevator full of doctors with nothing on but a hospital gown and your doctor is telling naked pregnant women jokes, he knows how to break the tension for sure. Being in labor 30 hours he came to check on me and said he would be back to break my water in a couple of hours. It broke within 30 minutes of his leaving, I was in labor another 12 hours and says to me after my csection I told you you could deliver an 8/8.5 lb baby, I didn't say anything about a… 9.5 lb. He never put me or my babies in any danger and he never made me, my husband, or my mom feel uninformed or an inconvenience. My mother would have been in delivery with me had I not had to have a c-section. That was his idea, 35 years ago that just didn't happen in a hospital. Everyone should have a doctor with his compassion, and love of his occupation.

Dr. Marks is an amazing doctor. He is highly knowledgeable and personable. He makes you feel very comfortable even when things aren’t going perfect. He kept me and my baby safe and did a perfect emergency c-section when it was needed. I’ll see him until he retires.

Dr Marks delivered my twins 23years ago. They are the mirror image twins which I understand the chances aren't in their favor. He was the best dr I've ever seen!

Dr. Marks is one of the few remaining physicians with integrity & character of the physician that you looked forward to seeing many years ago. This is an extreme rarity today with the uphil battle physicians face today with extremely low reimbursements from insurance carriers. Which promotes poor healthcare; see more patients in less time. Compounded with exorbitant malpractice premiums for physicians to even stay in practice.Somehow this man does it and always smiles when you see him and focuses on you as a patient.
