Great visit, friendly doctor that helped me immensely.

I made an appointment and arrived at the office at the scheduled time. I waited about an hour to be seen and was told by the assistant the reason the wait was so long was because pharmaceutical reps were visting.When I finnaly get to the exam room The assistant then goes on to ask me about 3 conditions they had written down none of which I have or were why I made an appointment. I then see the doctor and he asks some questions and I answer them then he says "ok we'll get an mri". He then leaves the room, a nurse returns with sample packs of some drug for stomach problems(which i do not have) and a prescription for a medication for another condition there is no reason to believe in my opinion or was shown any evidence is the problem. none of this was discussed with me prior, and thats it, I am told i can go, no explantion of risks,benifits or reason for the medications aside from (eat with this) no mention of the afore mentioned mri. On the way out I ask the receptionist (who are very… nice) when I will be referred to a specialist so she asks the nurse and apparently the reply was and I quote "they said when they get around to it". days later, it still hasn't happened. needless to say I will never return.
