Dr. Mezzafonte is, unequivocally, the best there is. His extensive knowledge and expertise, coupled with his genial disposition and sincere concern for all of his patients, make every visit far more palatable than is customary. There really aren't enough superlatives in the English language to express just how wonderful this man is. I am so thankful that my former cardiologist ( now retired) who was also an incredible doctor and human being, referred me to Dr. Mezzafonte. Highly recommended.

I recently saw Dr Mezzafonte and after a Nuclear Stress Test and a PET Stress Test he recommended I have an Angiogram. I was so impressed with the care I received and the way he explained everything to me. After he put four stents in my Right Coronary Artery I no longer have shortness of breath and any tightness in my chest. I am very happy that I chose him as my Cardiologist and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Mezzafonte is a wonderful cardiologist, he also has a great “bedside manor”he speaks to me in clinical terms which I appreciate.and always indicates he is available to me at all times if necessary.

I had met Dr. Mezzafonte while I was being transferred from my local hospital to St. Francis due to a severe heart issue. He is absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what my problem was with 100% accuracy and I was treated with kindness and respect. I needed heart surgery and he was with me from start to finish. He treated me like a friend rather than just another patient. I will never go to another cardiologist again!

Believe it or not a doctor who actually calls and speaks to his patients with their results, not a NP or whomever. He is the real thing. Takes his time and explains everything I am very impressed with such a young doctor with old ways in today's world you don't find many like him.

I was referred to Dr. Mezzafonte becase I was recently diagnosed with a heart condition. I had no trouble getting an immediate appointment. When we met he was cordial, affable and made me feel at ease. WHAT A FIND!!! He is outstanding. I feel I am in safe hands.
