Dr. Stephen C. Miely, D.D.S.
Dr. Miely earned a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Microbiology at Ohio State University graduating in 1974.
Following undergraduate school, he spent two years working in Microbiology research at Ohio State before beginning dental school. Dr. Miely graduated from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1980 with a Doctor of Dental Science degree.
Dr. Miely believes that continuing education and staying current with state of the art treatment is fundamental in providing his patients with the best care possible. Since graduating from dental school he has studied under the top leading professionals in the dental field, including; Dr. Walter Doyle for Orthodontic training, Dr. Bill Dickerson for Neuro-Muscular Occlusion, Dr. Pete Dawson for the temporomandibular joint, Dr. Larry Rosenthal and Dr. Ross Nash for Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Miely is a long standing Member of the American Dental Society, North Central Ohio Dental Society, Academy of …General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Miely moved to Sandusky in 1980 and started practicing at the corner of Milan Road and Sycamore Line. In July 1993, the office moved to its current location on Hull Road.
He and his wife Joanna and have been blessed with three beautiful children; Lesley Ann, Berkley and Nicholas. His interests outside of the office include golf and swimming and raising his children with the same kind of ideals that his family instilled in him.
