Dr. Stephen I Moreland, MD

Dr. Moreland received his medical degree with magnum cum laude from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Portland. He completed a transitional internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital and a residency in radiology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. His postgraduate training continued with a fellowship in cross sectional imaging and interventional radiology at the UCSD Department of Radiology.

Dr. Moreland is certified by the American Board of Radiology with special certification in vascular and interventional radiology. He has been practicing medicine for over 17 years and serves as the chair of the Department of Radiology at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Dr. Moreland is a member of numerous professional societies including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the San Diego County Radiological Society.
