Dr. Stephen Errol Nanton, MD

When my daughter started losing weight at a rapid pace her PCP sent her to Dr. Nanton. Previously that year, he had performed a colonoscopy and endoscopy on her and said everything was fairly normal. A few months go by and he keeps canceling our follow up because he overbooked patients, he took a vacation, and many other excuses. After my daughter got to the point where she was severely malnourished Dr. Nanton was playing it off and didn't think there was anything wrong so it wasn't his problem. After sending us home after that visit her PCP set up another appointment two weeks after and she had lost another 10lbs in those two weeks. At this next appointment he finally agreed to place a feeding tube since our daughter couldn't keep weight on her. After a few weeks of the tube not working, I called him and explained what was going on and he told us to "just take it out since it wasn't helping". By the following week my daughter was in the hospital fighting for her very life. He is also… a doctor that is very hard to get in contact with and is a doctor who doesn't work well with other doctors. He doesn't answer doctors when they need him urgently!!! He is a very unprofessional doctor and I would not recommend him to anyone for the sake of their children.

Dr. Nanton is a great doctor. His staff are incredible. He changed our lives and provided wisdom where we had none.
